March 2011 Update
The American Association of Political Consultants honored JPM&M with five 2011 Pollie Awards for direct mail in the following categories: Bilingual/Governor’s Race; Best Use of Negative/Contrast Statewide; and best IE in a Governor’s race. “Dr. Christina Chavez” and “Two-Faced Meg” won Gold and Silver Pollies as part of SEIU’s landmark Cambiando California campaign that helped elect Jerry Brown. Additionally, JPM&M won a Pollie for Best Use of Variable Data Printing for work with the California Medical Association.
Campaigns and Elections Magazine released its bi-annual “California Influencers” for 2010 and named Josh Pulliam on “our list of the top 100 players in California politics today.” Click here to see the full list of California Influencers.
JPM&M is thrilled to have worked with SEIU’s successful Jerry Brown independent expenditure, “Cambiando California,” the largest ever IE exclusively focused on Latino voters and with the California Labor Federation to beat back efforts against Congressmembers Jerry McNerney and Jim Costa, and Assemblymember Joan Buchanan. JPM&M also congratulates our many successful clients including Matt Bradford’s targeted re-election campaign in Pennsylvania against the national Republican tide; Das Williams’ success in beating back the last minute blitz by the Republican Party and the Chamber to pick up Assembly District 35 in California; easily protecting the targeted AD80 pick-up district with Manuel Perez; Dr. Richard Pan’s historic campaign winning a “Safe Republican seat” and eradicating Prop 8 co-author and lead attorney Andy Pugno’s candidacy.
